Itma Asia + Citme sends the five-day show into the archives with some 90,000 visitors arriving in Shanghai to see the latest in the global textile machinery industry from 111 countries and regions.
However, 87% of the visitors came from China and its main textile areas: Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Guangdong, Shandong, Fujian, Hebei, Henan, Anhui and Hubei.
Among foreigners, however, the ranking of the most present is led by India, followed by South Korea, Bangladesh, Indonesia and Iran.
Exhibitors are therefore satisfied, as reported to the organisers of the fair, Cematex, the Sub-Council of the Textile Industry, Ccpit, the China Textile Machinery Association and the China International Exhibition Centre Group Corporation.
Next year Itma Asia + Citme will leave China and move to Singapore, from 28 to 31 October.
